Bastet’s 2nd Annual Out-of-Studio Burlesque / Cabaret Show
Ready to take your dancing off the studio floor and onto a professional stage?
Glitter & Grit is a bold, body-positive cabaret experience created for Bastet dancers who want to explore performance, presence, and storytelling in a real venue setting.
This out-of-studio show is a special opportunity to:
- Perform at a professional venue
- Build confidence as a stage performer
- Develop choreography with intention and narrative
Practice musicality, character, and performance skills - Dip your toes into the world of gigging & live shows
Whether you’re an aspiring performer, curious about burlesque/cabaret, or just craving a creative challenge outside the studio, this experience is for you!

Important Dates!

SIGN UP PROCESS
Step 1:
- Read all the Sign Up Info pertaining to the dance(s) you want to participate in.
Can be found: In the Pole Room at Bastet

Step 2:
- Fill out and turn in your Performer Contract
Can be found: In the Pole Room at Bastet
Or email Stephanie@bastetdancefitness.com to request a PDF version.
- Contracts are due: Thurs, Feb 12th, for those who want their schedule considered when we create the rehearsal schedules.
Sign-ups will continue: up until Weds, Feb 18th.
Step 3:
- Friend & DM Stephanie (Cat Smith) and/or your choreographer on FB.
Step 4:
- Register for your dance(s) in Groovio (app or browser).
Rehearsals go live on Groovio: Mon, Feb 16th.

All dances are ALL LEVELS. No prerequisites. Dance classes encouraged unless noted.
Neo Burlesque
Choreographer: Niki Six

Vibe: Neo-burlesque glam. Sparkly “look at me” costumes (gloves, corset-esque tops, bras).
Note: Burlesque tease—not circus. Fast pasty reveal at the end.
Feather Fan Dance
Choreographer: Liz
Song: Gimme All Your Love – Alabama Shakes
Vibe: Sexy + sparkles. Costume color based on your fan color.
Showgirl Glamour
Choreographer: Liz
Song: Mr. Sandman (Electro Swing Mix) – Betty Booom
Vibe: Black & white showgirl realness. Sequins, black tights, 60s tap dancer energy.
AMPLIFY – Chair Dance
Choreographer: Milo

Boa Burlesque
Choreographer: Steph

Vibe: Campy, classic burlesque. Tiger or wild cat prints.
Focus: Tease + boa work. Minimal stripping.
All Levels Twerk

Solo Burlesque / Cabaret Act Creation Series
