How to sign up:
EMAIL: stephanie@bastetdancefitness.com to sign up, even if you aren’t ready to commit yet, so we know you are interested and can keep you in the loop.
Please provide:
•Types of dances you would like to participate in, solo, small group, group. You can choose more than 1
•Dance styles you are interested in.
•Your preferred rehearsal day(s), Sat, Sun, or another day.
Halloween Showcase Info:
• In this 10 week performance choreography series you will learn, rehearse and film a dance/dances that will be debuted at our annual Halloween Showcase!
• Choreographers: Stephanie, Noella, Tina, Lori
• Dance Styles: bellydance, chair dance, twerk, heels, hip hop, liquid motion
•Number of group pieces a dancer can participate in will be limited.
• Students are encouraged to do solos and small group pieces.
•Soloists and small groups will choose an instructor to mentor them through the rehearsal process. Don’t worry if you have never choreographed anything, we’ve got you!
•Rehearsals will primarily be on the weekends.
•Rehearsals will be held over zoom with the possibility of in studio rehearsals if the county allows us to open AND everyone in the group feels comfortable.
•Performances will be pre-recorded, separately or together depending on the dance, number of people involved and preference of the dancers, keeping health and safety as our highest priority.
•Videos will be edited (by us) and the showcase will be played as a “Watch Party ” on Friday The 13th, November
Pricing
All performance options must be paid for with an Unlimited Monthly Membership or 10 Class Rehearsal Package
Large Group Dances
- Must attend a minimum of 7 of the 10 rehearsals
Solo or Small Group w/ full or collaborative choreography help from Instructor
- Two initial 1hr Private Rehearsals and 8 Shared Rehearsals
- Must attend both private lessons and at least 5 of the 8 Shared Rehearsals
Solo or Small Group no choreography help needed
- Must attend a minimum of 2 the 10 Shared Rehearsals
- Must attend 1 Bastet class a week (rehearsals or regular classes)
Rehearsal – Ten 1hr time slots for Large Group numbers to learn and rehearse choreography. Choreography is done by an instructor.
Private Rehearsals – Two 1hr time slots for solos and small groups who need choreo assistance. These time slots will not be shared. This time will be used to discuss, create and/or learn choreography.
Shared Rehearsals – One hour time slots shared between a small group of solos and small groups. Used to rehearse, get feedback or assistance and to stay connected during the rehearsal process.
