SIGN UP PROCESS
- Step 1: Review the Showcase Info posted in the pole room.
- Step 2: Fill out and turn in the “Availability for Rehearsals” form.
- Due: ASAP! Aug 1stth is the cut off for priority registration.
- Step 3: Friend Stephanie Collette and/or your choreographer on FB. We use FB Messenger for communicating all show info, this is VERY IMPORTANT.
- Step 4: Take home a “Dancer Info Packet”
- Step 5: The rehearsal schedule will be created based on the Availability Forms turned in by Aug 1st and will be announced during the first week of August.
- Step 6: Fill out and Turn in the “Performer Contract” form. It’s the last page of your Dancer Info Packet.
- Due: By the first rehearsal, but we appreciate getting them early!
- Step 7: Any changes to info that you have already submitted MUST BE MADE IN WRITING BY EMAILING stephanie@bastetdancefitness.com

Showcase Info + Performer Rules / Guidelines
Max of 7 dances per season (Halloween 2025), 5 per show (Dance/Pole). I understand some group dances have pre-requisites and some require taking weekly classes in addition to weekly rehearsals.
My commitment to regularly attending weekly classes and rehearsals allows me to fully participate, work on techniques separately from choreo, and practice the choreo with my fellow dancers.
I cannot miss more than 2 out of the 8 Rehearsals (per dance)
I cannot miss more than 2 out of the 8 Weekly Classes that are required (per dance).
Absences must be pre-approved, by listing them in the contract (except in the case of illness or injury).
If more than 2 rehearsals and/or weekly classes are missed for any one dance it is up to the choreographer’s discretion how the situation will be handled. If I miss more than 2 rehearsals or classes, I understand that I might be required to take a private lesson(s) at my own cost, put in extra work outside of rehearsals or be removed from the dance.
I understand that I must PAY and REGISTER/SIGNUP FOR all 8 Rehearsals in the series regardless of absences.
I agree to LEARN the choreography (well enough to perform it alone, aka without following other dancers) for the dances I am participating in, including putting in individual at home practice.
I agree to bring positivity and respect into Bastet. Complaining isn’t positive or respectful. If I have a concern, I will bring it up to my choreographer/Instructor who will decide if it’s a personal or group conversation that needs to be had. No negative comments about myself, the way I dance, choreography choices, costumes, other negative talk/self talk, etc. Please be extra considerate when giving compliments and/or comments on another dancer, especially when involving their body. Commenting (positively or negatively) on weight gain/loss is not our vibe, please refrain.
I understand that my choreographer will have final say on ALL DECISIONS made regarding the performance, choreo and costuming. I agree to accept those decisions graciously and to communicate with my choreographer personally if I have any questions / concerns or are unhappy with anything. If my questions / concerns pertain to the whole group the choreographer will bring it up with the whole group.
I understand that I MUST attend Dress Rehearsal and BOTH NIGHTS of the Showcase.
I will check group messages regularly to stay up-to-date and responsive to notes and updates. We use FB Messenger for most of our communications. If this does not work for me I will connect with the choreographer to discuss other options.
Any change made after submitting your Availability Form or Performer Contract MUST BE SENT VIA EMAIL to Stephanie@bastetdancefitness.com
